Free SEO Checker — No Signup, No Catch

Paste a URL and get a 0–100 score with every finding and every fix. Free, three checks a day, no account.

What to check

3 free checks a day · results in under 30 seconds

  • No signup needed
  • Free reports auto-delete after 30 days
  • Read-only — we never change your site
  • Secure HTTPS

This free SEO checker audits any web page in about 15–30 seconds and tells you, in plain English, what is stopping it from ranking. There is no signup, no email gate and no credit card: paste a URL, press the button and you get a score out of 100 with a prioritized list of fixes.

Most “free” SEO tools show you a score and then hide the useful part behind a trial. We show every finding and every explanation on the free plan. Paid plans add whole-site crawls, weekly monitoring and PDF reports — not the answers you need to fix a single page.

How to use the free SEO checker

  1. Paste your page address

Enter the URL of the page you want to check, such as your home page or a blog post. You can leave off https:// — we add it for you.

  2. Press “Check SEO”

We fetch the page the way a search engine does, read its HTML, and test your robots.txt, your XML sitemap and the links on the page.

  3. Fix from the top down

Critical issues come first, then warnings, then small improvements. Each one explains why it matters and exactly how to fix it.

What the free check covers

Each free audit runs more than 25 checks on one page — the same core checks the paid tools run:

  • Titles and meta descriptions: presence, length and duplicates.
  • Headings: one clear H1 and a logical H2/H3 outline.
  • Images: missing alt text, missing width and height, lazy loading.
  • Indexing: noindex tags, the canonical URL, robots.txt rules and your XML sitemap.
  • Links: up to 40 links on the page tested for 404s and server errors.
  • Speed hints: server response time, compression, HTML size and render-blocking scripts.
  • Mobile and social: the viewport tag, language attribute, Open Graph tags and structured data.

What “free” actually means here

You get three full audits per day without an account, and every result has a private share link you can send to a developer or client. We keep the free plan funded with a small number of clearly labeled ads shown below the results — never between you and the button. Paying subscribers see no ads at all.

There is no catch hidden in the report either. We don’t ask for your e-mail before showing results, we don’t add a “powered by” link to your site, and we never sell the list of URLs people check.

Tips to get the most from a free SEO checker

  • Start with the pages that earn money or leads — your home page, main service pages and best-selling products — rather than random blog posts.
  • Fix critical issues first. A single noindex tag or a wrong canonical can outweigh twenty small warnings.
  • Re-check after each change. Because a check takes seconds, you can confirm a fix worked before moving on.
  • Check one competitor page that outranks you and compare titles, headings and content depth with your own result.
  • Don’t chase a perfect 100. A score in the 80s with genuinely helpful content beats a perfect score on a thin page.

Limits to keep in mind

A single-page check can’t see problems that only appear across a whole site, such as duplicate titles on different pages or pages nobody links to. It also can’t measure backlinks or rankings — no on-page tool can see those from your HTML. For site-wide issues use the website SEO audit on a Pro plan, and pair any checker with Google Search Console for real ranking data.

Privacy and safety

We only read public pages, exactly like a search engine. We never ask for passwords or access to your site. Reports from anonymous checks are deleted automatically after 30 days, and to enforce the daily limit we store a salted hash of your IP address — not the address itself. Read our privacy policy for details.

Free seo checker: frequently asked questions

Is this SEO checker really free?

Yes. Three single-page audits per day are free with full results and explanations. You only pay if you want whole-site crawls, weekly monitoring or PDF reports.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Paste a URL and press the button. An account is only needed for paid plans, saved history and monitoring.

How long does a check take?

Usually 10–30 seconds. Slow servers or pages with many links take a little longer, because we actually test each link instead of guessing.

Can I check a competitor’s website?

Yes, you can check any public page. Comparing your page with one that outranks you is one of the fastest ways to spot gaps in titles, headings and content.

Why is my score different from other tools?

Every tool weighs checks differently. We weight issues by their real impact on indexing and clicks, so a noindex tag costs far more points than a missing favicon. Focus on the fix list rather than the number.

Will running a check affect my site or rankings?

No. We make a handful of normal requests, like a single visitor would. Nothing on your site changes, and Google never sees the audit.
